This is used exclusively for welding PE and PP pipes and fittings. The KL 630 welding machine is used for welding PE and PP pipes and fittings in the 710–1200 mm size range.
The equipment comprises a hydraulic unit, the base machine (clamps), a facer, an electronically controlled heating element, a supply box for the facer and heater plate along with the plate control thermostat, a transport support for the facer and plate, and the WR200 device, whose role is to record the welding parameters and guide the operator while the weld is being made. The operator is assisted through every stage of welding. Selecting the welding data — material, diameter and wall thickness (SDR) — is done easily via the menu. The high-accuracy recorder controls the welding process in accordance with the national standards in force (e.g. DVS, WIS or UNI). The solid PE housing, rated IP 65, also incorporates a serial printer.
